Cleanliness of seasonal sewerage in progress in Karachi, spokesperson NDMA

ISLAMABAD, August 8 (online): The cleanliness of seasonal sewerage is in progress in Karachi on 5th day.
Spokesperson NDMA has said that FWO have completed 100 percent work on three big sewerage areas. He said that 42 choke points have been cleared on three big drains. Approximately 31000 ton waste have been taken out from drains.
He further said that the work is in progress on still water drainage in different areas of city. The water has been drained out from Karsaz, KDA Chowrangi, Gora kabristan and tower chowk through de-watering pumps.
The teams are working on Shahrah-e-Faisal, Airport, Clinton block 8, rangers post 4 Gujjar drainage. The situation and routine life is normal throughout the city.
