Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has taken notice of the news by Baaghi TV about the suicide of a laborer who lost his job due to lockdown in Kot Addu Tehsil of Muzaffargarh.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, CM Buzdar gave a check for Rs.3 lakhs as a relief and announced a government job for the widow.

Due to the lockdown, a laborer named Nazir had become unemployed in Kot Addu Tehsil of Muzaffargarh. He had no food and grocery at his home. When he saw his children opening fast with water, he committed suicide by consuming poisonous medicines.

When the news of the case was published on Baaghi TV, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar took notice and went ahead to help the needy family.

On the direction of Chief Minister Punjab, Federal Minister of State Shabir Ali Qureshi reached Nazir’s house who committed suicide and after offering condolences, handed over a check of Rs. 300,000 to Nazir’s family.

He said that Nazir’s widow would also be provided a job by the government. Minister of State Shabir Ali Qureshi said that after Nazir’s suicide, he had appealed to the Punjab Chief Minister for financial assistance to Nazir’s family.
