CM Punjab to get a new Special Assistant

Lahore, 13th October: A prominent businessman from Islamabad has been appointed as the Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the cabinet of Punjab has been increased and the Chief Minister of Punjab has made a prominent businessman of Islamabad his special assistant.

Chairman Punjab Board Tanveer Ilyas has been posted as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister. He has been posted as Special Assistant for Investment, Trade and Business.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, the owner of the Centaurus Mall in Islamabad, is serving as the Chairman of the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade.

In January this year, a court in Rawalpindi had ordered to file a case against Chairman Punjab Board of Investment and owner of Centaurus Mall.

Additional Sessions Judge Ijaz Ahmed directed the Naseerabad police station to register a case against Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, who had demolished buildings by occupying two canals of land belonging to a citizen named Babar Mahmood in the name of residency.

The citizen lodged several petitions against this illegal move of Sardar Tanveer Ilyas in the concerned police station but the police did not register a case. The victim decided to approach the court. Appearing in the regular court through his lawyer Syed Omar Sohail Shah, the court sought registration of a case against Sardar Tanveer Ilyas for justice and complained of police negligence.
