Complaint filed against Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone for consuming drugs
Mumbai, 17th September: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has registered a case against Bollywood’s most popular producer Karan Johar and other stars for openly consuming drugs at an event.
Baaghi TV: According to the Indian media reports, former Delhi MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa has lodged an FIR with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) against Indian actors, including Karan Johar, who was arrested in 2019.
Bollywood celebs attended an event hosted by Karan Johar and openly consumed drugs.

According to Indian media, the event was attended by Karan Johar’s close associates including Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Shahid Kapoor and filmmaker Ayan Mukherjee.
Former Delhi MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa has called for an inquiry into the matter as it could lead to further revelations in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case.
Rhea Chakraborty arrested in drugs case
He took to his Twitter account to share the FIR report against the celebrities:

Speaking to Indian media, the former MLA said that he had lodged a complaint with the Mumbai Police last year about the viral video of the function but did not take any strict action to investigate it.

It should be noted that Manjinder Singh Sirsa had also shared a video of the drug event hosted by Karan Johar on his Twitter account in 2019.

An investigation initiated after the resurfacing of a video of Karan’s alleged drug party that was doing rounds on social media. Sirsa submitted the letter asking for a probe to be set in place against Karan Johar and others.
Besides this, the complaint narrates the incident that happened in 2019 during the filmmaker’s bash and the video that was shared on Johar’s Twitter account. “The instant complaint has been preferred to bring to your knowledge the instance of 2019 where during a party hosted at the house of Mr Karan Johar one of the big names in Bollywood film industry, drugs were used by the other Bollywood stars. A video of that party was posted by the complainant on social media through his Twitter account,” the complaint mentions.
Kangana Ranaut to be interrogated for consuming drugs
As per Indian media reports, the letter further revealed that the investigation should be conducted against these said celebrities as it comes under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
It was reported by Baaghi TV earlier that the Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has specifically taken the names of Ranbir Kapoor, Ranvir Singh, Vicky Kaushal and Ayan Mukherji to have their drug tests taken.
Earlier, there were reports that Rhea Chakraborty, who has been arrested in the alleged drugs case by the NCB, had named Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh in connection with narcotics.
