Lahore, 17th June: Consul General of Japan Mr. Toshikazu Isumora commended the efforts for establishing a highly professional trained police law enforcement outfit in the Sindh Police.
This was observed by Mr. Toshikazu Isumora during his visit to various sections of the Special Security Unit Headquarters Sindh Police.
The Consul General was briefed about the various sections of the Special Security Unit and measures adopted to set up the country’s first Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T) team in SSU comprising highly trained Commandos including lady Commandos of S.W.A.T equipped with the latest weapons and communication system remain alert round the clock as quick response force to challenge any emergency situation if created by the anti-social elements/terrorists.
The Consul General expressed happiness to see the progress of the Police Commandos in the field of counter-terrorism.
Mr. Toshikazu Isumora also witnessed a mock exercise conducted by S.W.A.T Commandos of SSU.
Later, DIG Security and Emergency Security Division Maqsood Ahmed presented an honorary shield to the guest.
