July 15, 2021: Federal Minister for Planning Asad Omar has warned that the Indian version of the corona virus is wreaking havoc in the region.

Federal minister and head of NCOC Asad Umer, said in a statement on the social networking site Twitter that the number of corona patients in hospitals and ICUs is sharply increasing.

He said that Indian type of Corona virus is wreaking havoc in the region, the number of critically ill Corona patients is also increasing. Follow Corona SOPs and get vaccinated, do not endanger your own life and the lives of others. 

It is to be noted that the prevalence of Corona cases in the country has further increased and the rate of positive cases has gone above 5%. According to NCOC, 2,545 new cases of Corona were reported in 24 hours, while 48,910 tests were conducted on July 14. Another 47 people have died from the outbreak.

Asad Omar on Thursday also urged people to get vaccinated against the corona virus and follow government guidelines against the disease.

The head of NCOC told the people to follow SOPs, get vaccinated and not endanger their own lives and the lives of others. It is worth mentioning that 545 cases have been reported in Pakistan in Kuwait 19, which is the highest number of positive cases at the end of May, 981,392. The death toll rose to 22,689 on Thursday. According to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 2,545 people tested positive for Covid 19 in the past 24 hours.

Punjab is the most affected province in terms of deaths, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. So far, 10,852 people have spread epidemics in Sindh, 5,647 in Punjab, 4,377 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 787 in Islamabad, 596 in Azad Kashmir, 317 in Balochistan and 113 in GB. In addition, 351,006 corona virus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 349,111 in Punjab, 139,960 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 84,083 in Islamabad, 28,588 in Balochistan, 21,481 in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. 7,163 people have been confirmed.
