Coronavirus: Balochistan asks for global aid

Lahore, 25th Feb: According to the reports of Baaghi TV, the Balochistan government has requested the Global Organizations to provide them with the aid to combat coronavirus.

Balochistan government seeks help from federal government and the international agencies in view of the coronavirus threat, Baaghi TV reports.

DG Health Shakir Baloch, has asked for the support from the UNICEF and World Bank to provide them with the coronavirus kits and masks.

Balochistan has a long border with Iran and keeping in mind the safety measures, Pak-Iran border has been closed for the past three days.

Balochistan government has imposed emergency in Iran-bound border districts after the deadly coronavirus killed many in Iran. Medical teams have reached the Taftan border to look after the people and provide them with food and medicines.

In Iran recently, their Deputy Health Minister has been tested positive of this virus putting the whole country in danger. They have closed down their schools and universities in 14 of their provinces.

The death toll due to the coronavirus has risen to 2,346 in China. According to the National Health Commission, 500 new cases of Corona virus have surfaced. Millions of people are in lockdown in Hubei province. People are advised to stay indoors with their windows shut.
