International Monetary Fund (IMF) decides to provide great relief to Pakistan amid Coronavirus crisis.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, the IMF has given Pakistan a one-year relief to pay off loans. Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the IMF has decided to give relied to Pakistan due to the global pandemic, COVID-19.

It is to be noted that the IMF has approved debt relief for almost seventy-six countries including Pakistan.
Speaking on behalf of Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the problems of developing countries fighting against the novel Coronavirus, FM Qureshi said that my concern is poverty and hunger. He stressed that the global community should think about forgiving debt from countries like ours.

In addition to this, the United Nations (UN) has also shown support for PM Khan’s demands to provide relief from loans. UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres said, Prime Minister Imran Khan supports developing countries’ debt forgiveness. It is to be noted that the Prime Minister’s move is in the same spirit as that of the Un Secretary-General.
