Lahore, 25th May: With the surge in coronavirus cases in Sindh, the provincial government has imposed stringent restrictions in the province.

Baaghi TV: The Sindh government has decided to tighten the restrictions on the citizens in order to curb the coronavirus spread.

Karachi Police has formulated a strategy for the full implementation of coronavirus SOPs.

Police officials said that barricades and pickets will be set up on the city’s main highways. People should not go out unnecessarily after 8 o’clock.

Unnecessary outbursts will be stopped, police officials said. Police will patrol markets, hotels and parks.

Officials informed that senior police officers will visit the districts themselves and violators of the lockdown will be dealt with severely.

Earlier, Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that our recommendations were not taken into account, hence, it was feared that the number of positive cases would increase.

The provincial minister said that citizens should not go out unnecessarily after 8 pm, action would be taken on violation of restrictions.

“Strict decisions were also imposed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. Our proposal to close inter-provincial transport was not accepted,” he added.


The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Pakistan has reached 20,191 while the total number of affected people has reached 9,55000.

It is to be noted that coronavirus is spreading rapidly in Pakistan. 26 districts of Pakistan have been declared at high risk by the National Command and Operations Center.
