According to Baaghi TV, Prime Minister Imran Khan convened a meeting of the Council of Common Interests on August 6.

The meeting of the Council of Common Interests will be chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan and will be attended by four Chief Ministers, Federal Ministers, Attorney General of Pakistan and senior officials.

The meeting will consider an 8-point agenda. The national strategy against corona virus, handing over control of Lower Portion Chashma Canal to Punjab, amendment of Minerals Act 1948, amendment to OGRA Ordinance 2002 and decisions of previous meeting on water issue in provinces will be reviewed.

The review report of the Council of Common Interests for the 2017-18 meeting will also be presented.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar will visit Islamabad today. Chief Minister Usman Bazdar will attend the meeting of the Council of Common Interests. Chief Minister Usman Bazdar will also attend the meeting of the National Coordination Committee. President Arif Alvi reconstituted the Council of Common Interests, for which a formal notification was issued. According to the notification, the chairman of the eight-member Council of Common Interests will be the Prime Minister.
