The special status of Kashmir was abolished on August 5 after the wave against India erupted in Kashmir or on behalf of China. Tensions are also rising between China and India over Ladakh. China had killed 20 soldiers, including an Indian colonel. India has primarily remained silent on the issue of China, only replying that, China invaded and occupied Indian land in Ladakh which India has not been able to liberate so far.

According to sources from Ladakh, India has stopped talking these days due to infiltration. According to the media, the Chinese forces are only 255 km away from the main highway of Derbok Sheuk. According to a report quoting Indian military sources, the number of Chinese troops on the border is constantly increasing.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that India has always run away from mediation, Kashmir is a contentious and unresolved issue. The Kashmiri leadership in Occupied Kashmir has reportedly welcomed Trump’s mediation for resolving the Kashmir issue.
