Lahore, 29th September: Foreign Ministry has submitted a report on a non-bailable arrest warrant of Salman Shahbaz.
Baaghi TV: In the case of hearing of money laundering and assets in excess of income against Shehbaz Sharif and his family in the accountability court, Shehbaz Sharif said that my lawyers are not appearing today.
Shehbaz Sharif told the court that all the inherited assets were transferred to his children. I have nothing to do with these industrial enterprises. “I had submitted all the details in the High Court,” he said.
Replying to the court, Shehbaz Sharif said that he had caused a loss of Rs. 90 crore to his son’s sugar mills.
Shehbaz Sharif told the court that the allegation is that the assets of the children have increased since I became the Chief Minister of Punjab.
According to Shehbaz Sharif, I said that it is wrong to facilitate family members from government money because it is the right of the people.
Shehbaz Sharif further told the court that in 2017, the Punjab government asked for a subsidy of Rs 15 per kg for sugar exports. We decided in September 2017 that the matter should be referred to the federal government.
According to Shehbaz Sharif, Rs. 15 subsidies will not be given from Punjab exchequer. The Sindh government provided Rs. 9 per kg subsidy on top of Rs. 10 subsidies.
Sharif presented the record of development work done during his tenure in the court.
The court inquired whether the record submitted by you should be made a part of the record. On which Shehbaz Sharif allowed to be a part of the record decor.
After hearing all the arguments, the Lahore Accountability Court adjourned the hearing of the money laundering and excess assets case till October 5 and handed over Shehbaz Sharif to the NAB on physical remand till October 13.
