Court order on cancellation of PPSC examinations

Lahore, 10th August: The Lahore High Court has heard the petition for cancellation of Punjab Public Service Commission examinations 2020.

According to Baaghi TV, the court has disposed of the petition after hearing and has forwarded the petition to the Secretary Punjab Public Service Commission.

The court has directed to conduct the examinations under SOPs.

Mr. Justice Jawad Hassan heard the petition through Mian Asif Advocate. The petitioner said that all the educational institutions were closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

All coaching centers, libraries, and academies are closed. Based on this, it is impossible to prepare students for exams. Students taking exams from other cities may face housing problems.

All universities to reopen across the country

The petitioner further said that every year PPSC conducts these examinations in December. This time it has been decided to conduct these examinations earlier than the stipulated time

It should be noted that educational institutions across the country have been closed due to the coronavirus. The NCOC has announced the reopening of educational institutions from September 15.
