Lahore, 2nd June: The court gives its order on journalist Asad Toor’s FIA summons.
According to reports, Islamabad High Court suspends the second notice issued to Asad Toor by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The court directed the investigating officer to state at a later date whether the complaint met the proposed procedure.
The court remarked that the FIA is not trying to understand that this is a criminal case and it has an impact on society. The court asked the FIA how you will issue the notice.
Justice Athar Minallah heard the petitions of journalist Asad Tor challenging FIA notices in the Islamabad High Court.
The court has adjourned the hearing of the case till June 20 and sought a reply from the FIA.
It should be noted that last week three men barged in at the residence of a journalist Asad Toor in Islamabad and assaulted him.
