COVID-19: A complete lockdown for 15 days announced

Lahore, 17th  November: A complete lockdown for 15 days starting from Friday to be implemented.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, after the second wave of coronavirus, a complete lockdown has been decided in Azad Kashmir for 15 days from Friday.

A briefing was given in the Azad Kashmir cabinet that the situation of COVID-19 in Kashmir has reached dangerous levels. Reportedly, the rate of coronavirus in the capital Muzaffarabad has reached 19%, hence, all districts of Azad Kashmir will be locked down simultaneously.

Azad Kashmir cabinet meeting decided that there will be a complete ban on weddings and other celebrations, educational and business establishments, shops will be closed, and attendance at offices will be 50%.

According to the decision of the cabinet, religious gatherings and funeral prayers will be held in all the districts of Azad Kashmir under full SOPs. All educational institutions will remain completely closed. It was informed in the cabinet meeting that corona positive rate is highest in schools.

It has been decided that strict screening would be carried out at all entry points. All business centres and offices will be closed, only essential services business under SOPs can be continued.
