Latest statistics released by the National command & Operation Centre show that number of active COVID-19 cases crosses 40,000.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan is 40,406 with 2,636 cases reported on 28th May.

A total of 64,028 cases detected so far:
- 227 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
- 3,928 in Balochistan
- 658 in Gilgit-Baltistan
- 2,100 in Islamabad
- 8,842 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
- 22,964 in Punjab
- 25,309 in Sindh
