According to the report of Baaghi TV, Dr. Adnan Haleem, a third year student of Khyber Medical College, was lost today while fighting against COVID-19.
According to the Provincial Doctors Association, Dr. Adnan Haleem was on a ventilator in the Medical ICU of Khyber Teaching Hospital. Dr. Adnan Haleem belonged to Swat district.
The Provincial Doctors Association said that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the provincial government should give the cabinet-approved martyrs package to the martyred doctors and other staff as soon as possible. Take practical steps to give Corona Allowance to doctors and other health workers fighting on the front line against Corona as soon as possible.
Earlier, Dr Bashir died in Peshawar from Corona virus yesterday. Dr. Bashir Abdullah was the former Deputy Medical Superintendent of Teaching Hospital Mansehra. Dr. Bashir was ill and hospitalized due to corona.
The number of doctors killed due to Corona in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has risen to 22. The PDA says Dr. Bashir’s services in the field of medicine will be remembered.
Expressing deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Dr. Bashir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said that the services of doctors during the Corona epidemic have been commendable.
The second wave of Corona continues in Pakistan. While there have been 21 deaths in the last 24 hours, 1,708 new patients have emerged.
