COVID-19, cases continue to rise in Pakistan

Latest statistics released by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 807 people have been tested positive for COVID-19 in Pakistan while, 11 people have died on the 30th of October.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, total number of active cases are at 12,121 with 21,688 tests conducted on 30th October, 2020. Provincial statistics show Sindh conducted 7,521, Punjab conducted 6,631, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa conducted 2,755, Islamabad conducted 3,902, Balochistan conducted 187, Gilgit-Baltistan conducted 371, and Azad Kashmir conducted 315 tests.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, 314,066 people have recovered so far since the outbreak, making it a significant count. It is to be noted that 100 ventilators are occupied across Pakistan out of a total of 1,884 ventilators allocated for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, a total of 332,993 cases have been detected so far with Azad Kashmir at 4,082, Balochistan at 15,896, Gilgit-Baltistan at 4,248, Islamabad at 19,818, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at 39,458, Punjab at 104,016, and Sindh at 145,475.

It is to be noted that the death toll has crossed six thousand with the latest count at 6,806. Provincial figures show Sindh is at 2,625 with 5 deaths in the hospital, Punjab is at 2,357 with 3 deaths in the hospital, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is at 1,276, Islamabad is at 217 with 2 deaths in the hospital, Balochistan is at 149, Gilgit-Baltistan is at 92, Azad Kashmir is at 90 with 1 death in the hospital.
