Rana Sanaullah, a member of the PML-N, will be indicted on November 21, according to reports of Baaghi TV.
The anti-terrorism court heard a drug smuggling case against PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah. Anti-drug court judge Shakir Hassan heard the drug case. The court fixed November 21st for indictment of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah.
The court ordered the prosecution to engage in a debate at the next hearing for indictment.
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah on July 1st, 2019 in a drug trafficking case. According to Rana Sanaullah, a false case was registered against him while evidence of drug smuggling was not presented in court.
According to ANF officials, a large quantity of drugs was recovered from Rana Sanaullah’s vehicle and a case was registered against him under the Narcotics Act. According to Anti-Drug Force sources, the drug smuggler had named the PML-N leader in the investigation.
Rana Sanaullah’s bail application was granted by the Lahore High Court. After which a petition was filed in the Supreme Court seeking revocation of Rana Sanaullah’s bail. Rana Sanaullah’s bail cancellation petition, filed by ANF, contains 17 pages.
It is to be noted, Rana Sanaullah was released after six months in a drug case. Rana Sanaullah, president of PML-N Punjab, a member of the National Assembly who was released in a drug case, has said that there is no head or foot in this case. I will not mention the circumstances under which I was imprisoned. I was granted bail six months later, but not justice. May the wrath and anger of Allah be upon those who have filed false cases. If I am a liar, may the wrath and anger of Allah descend on me.
