COVID-19, cases on the rise as number of deaths escalates

Latest figures released by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) show 2,843 people tested COVID-19 positive on 20th November.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, 2,843 new cases reported meanwhile, 42 lives lost to COVID-19 on the 20th of November. Out of these, 34 deaths were reported for in-hospital patients patient while, 8 patients died out of hospital.

The number of total active cases has reached 34,974 as of 21st November, meanwhile 42,752 tests have been conducted on November 20. Provincial statistics show Sindh is at 12,975. Punjab is at 16,275, KP is at 4,615, ICT is at 7,052, Balochistan is at 664, GB is at 302 and AJK is at 896.

So far 328,931 people have recovered after being diagnosed with COVID-19, making it a significant count. There is no patient on ventilator in the AJK and Balochistan region, while246 vents are occupied across Pakistan out of a total of 1,798 ventilators allocated for patients of Corona virus.

According to reports, a total of 371,508 cases have been detected since the outbreak meanwhile, provincial statistics show AJK at 5,911, Balochistan at 16,699, GB at 4,506, ICT at 26,177, KP at 43,730, Punjab at 113,457 and Sindh at 161,028.

It is to be noted that the death toll has reached 7,603 with latest statistics showing Sindh at 2,799 (12 in-hospital deaths, 7 out of hospital deaths), Punjab at 2,826 (15 in-hospital deaths), KP at 1,323 (3 in-hospital deaths, 1 out of hospital death), ICT at 270 (4 in-hospital deaths), Balochistan at 158 (no deaths on the 20th of November), GB: 93 (no deaths on the 20th of November), AJK: 134 (no deaths on the 20th of November).
