According to the reports of Baaghi TV, the spread of Corona virus continues in Pakistan, as 77 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours while 2,691 new patients have emerged.
According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center on Corona Virus in Pakistan, 8,839 people have lost their lives due to corona virus and 2,50,509 are total number of known patients.
There are 94,713 cases of corona in the country. While the number of recovery patients has reached 134,957.
The number of corona patients in Sindh has reached the highest number of 96,236, While Punjab has recorded 82,669, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 28,236, while Balochistan has reported 10,841, Islamabad has 13,557, as Gilgit has 1,587 and 1,383 people are affected in Azad Kashmir.
In Punjab, 1,899 people have died from the coronavirus, while 1,572 have died in Sindh, 1,038 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 124 in Balochistan, 140 in Islamabad, 36 in Azad Kashmir and 30 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
In the last 24 hours alone, 71 Corona patients have died while undergoing treatment in hospitals and 6 have been reported dead in homes. In the last 24 hours, 41 deaths occurred in hospitals and 5 at home in Sindh. In one day, 14 deaths occurred in hospitals and one at home in Punjab. While in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 10 corona patients were hospitalized and one was reported collapsed at home. In the last 24 hours, 3 deaths occurred in hospitals in Islamabad. Menawhile, one corona patient died at a hospital in Balochistan in a single day.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, two deaths were reported in the hospital during the last 24 hours and no one died of corona virus in Azad Kashmir.
During the last 24 hours, 24,577 tests have been performed and a total of 1,445,153 tests have been performed. There are 1,525 ventilators available for corona patients across the country and currently 439 corona patients are on ventilator. In Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, no patient is on ventilator. There are facilities for corona patients in 732 hospitals across the country and currently 4,975 corona patients are being treated in hospitals.
