According to reports of Baaghi TV, the latest figures released by the National Command & Operation Center (NCOC) shows that 39 patients on ventilator have died in Pakistan.

According to reports, during the last 24-hours, most deaths occurred in Punjab followed by Sindh. There is an increase in number of critical cases in Punjab mainly Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi as well as Peshawar.

According to reports, sixty deaths have been reported in the last 24-hours out of which thirty-nine were patients on ventilator. Meanwhile, 57 deaths occurred in-hospital and 3 patients died out of hospital. In addition, 2,963 people were reported positive on 8th December.

According to reports, the percentage of ventilators occupied by patients shows that Multan which is at 63%, Islamabad at 49%, Peshawar at 41% and Lahore at 36%, are majority areas. It is to be noted that the oxygen beds are being occupied in the following percentage: Islamabad at 61%, Multan at 47%, Peshawar at 46%, and Abbottabad at 37%.

The total number of cases in Pakistan is 45,324 while, 38,092 tests have been conducted. Provincial statistics show Sindh is at 11,242, Punjab is at 15,691, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is at 4,051, Islamabad (ICT) is at 5,719, Balochistan is at 604, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) is at 406 and Azad Kashmir (AJK) is at 379.

So far, 372,271 people have recovered across Pakistan, making it a significant count. There is no patient on ventilator in Balochistan and GB areas meanwhile, 348 vents are occupied in Pakistan.

A total of 426,142 cases detected so far with AJK at 7,427, Balochistan at 17,540, GB at 4,761, ICT at 33,420, KP at 50,506, Punjab at 124,804, and Sindh at 187,684.

The total death toll has reached 8,547 as of 8th December, 2020 with Sindh reporting 3,081 (20 in-hospital, 1 out of hospital) deaths. Punjab reported 3,242 (22 in-hospital, 2 out of hospital) deaths, KP reported 1,429 (10 in-hospital) deaths, ICT reported 345 (4 in-hospital) deaths, Balochistan reported 170 (1 in-hospital) deaths, GB reported 98 (-) deaths, and AJK reported 182 (-) deaths.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, 5,865,944 tests have been conducted since the outbreak spread across Pakistan. So far, 613 hospitals are providing COVID-19 facilities to 3,030 patients across Pakistan.
