COVID-19: Death toll increases to 281 in Pakistan

Lahore, 27th April: According to the National Command and Control Center, the number of coronavirus patients in Pakistan has risen to 13,328 while 281 patients have lost their lives.

According to Baaghi TV, in the last 24 hours, 383 new patients have emerged while 3 deaths have occurred. However, 2,866 people have recovered from COVID-19.

Coronavirus cases in Pakistan province wise are as follows:

  • Punjab: 5,446 cases
  • Sindh: 4,615 cases
  • Islamabad: 245 cases
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 1,864 cases
  • Balochistan: 781 cases
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 318 cases
  • Azad Kashmir: 59 cases

83 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus in Punjab province, 81 in Sindh, 98 in KP, 13 in Balochistan, 3 each in Islamabad, and GB have been reported dead.

COVID-19: No matter the social distance, dangers will remain

Punjab is showing a rise in the number of cases with 120 more cases of coronavirus, the toll has reached 5,446. In Lahore, with 60 more cases reporting, the number has risen to 1,217. 11 more corona cases in Rawalpindi, the number reached to 289, in Gujranwala, 22 more corona cases have risen the number to 144. Similarly, with 10 more corona cases in Gujarat, the number has come to 221. 3 each case from Mandi Bahauddin, Faisalabad, and Rahim Yar Khan have been reported.

 

 

 

The number of recoveries in the province has reached 1,183.

People ranging from infants to 80-year-olds are affected in the federal capital Islamabad. Patients account for 70% of males and 30% of females. So far, more than 500 people have been tested. There were 8 cases of children up to 10 years of age and 18 cases from 10 to 18 years of age.

There have been 14 cases between the ages of 20 and 29, 49 cases between the ages of 30 and 39 and 32 cases between the ages of 40 and 49. Twenty-five people between the ages of 50 and 59 contracted the coronavirus. There were 18 cases in 60 to 69 years and 8 cases in 70 to 79 years. Only 3 cases of 80 years or more were reported. The highest number of cases was reported in Tarlai and Bhara Kahu.

In Sindh province, 182 children under the age of ten have been infected with the coronavirus. Sindh government spokesman Murtaza Wahab said that 900 people over the age of 60 have been diagnosed positive.
