ISLAMABAD: Two employees of Radio Pakistan have died of corona virus.
According to Baaghi TV, two employees of Radio Pakistan have died of corona virus. Both the employees were associated with Radio Pakistan for a long time.
According to the sources of Baaghi TV, according to Radio Pakistan, two employees of the company, senior broadcast engineer Muhammad Ashfaq and female Urdu newscaster Huma Zafar have passed away after contracting the corona virus. Details about the employees have also been shared, stating that Senior Broadcast Engineer Muhammad Ashfaq was a permanent employee and a highly capable person with technical skills.
According to the report, female Urdu newscaster Huma Zafar has been on contract with Radio Pakistan for the last 20 years and was reading Urdu news in Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation. Huma Zafar had a PhD in psychology from abroad at a college in Rawalpindi. She was also serving as a senior professor.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz, Information Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani, DG Radio Pakistan Embreen Jan, directors and staff of the National Broadcasting Corporation have expressed deep sorrow over the demise of both the employees.
During a meeting, the Director General of PBC directed the workers working in all sectors to strictly implement the precautionary measures in the wake of the deaths of two employees due to corona virus.
