COVID-19: Maria B Shows Her Efforts Towards Pandemic
Lahore, 20th April: Pakistan’s famous fashion designer Maria B joins the list of fashion designers and philanthropists who are playing their part during a pandemic in the country.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, with the horrific rise in the coronavirus patients in the country, there is a huge shortage of facial masks and protectives suits.
Many fashion designers are coming forward to produce face masks and hazmat suits, in order to provide them to the hospitals where there is a huge requirement by the para-medic staff.

After her controversy, Maria B has decided to play her part in the fight against COVID-19. The designer has pledged to produce 100,000 masks to distribute to as many people as possible.

According to the brand, “We are currently producing 1000 masks a day in both cotton and 25 GSM approved fabric.”
In a press release, Maria B stated, “The brand has always taken steps to help out Pakistan and its people wherever possible. Through our Maria.B Cares initiative we have collaborated with various organizations, government and private sectors in doing what we can, be it fighting against COVID-19, providing rations, healthcare, education or the environment. We do what we can and encourage everyone to join hands and do whatever they can to build a prosperous nation.”

Furthermore, Maria B disclosed that her team is working with the National Disaster and Management Authority (NDMA) by providing them with masks, pocket sanitizers, PPE suits, gloves, face shields, caps as well as shoe covers.
After creating controversies on sending her corona positive cook to his village and then playing guilty in front of the media, Maria B has finally succumbed to something good.
