In the last 24 hours, 707 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan, while 3 deaths have been reported, according to Baaghi TV.
According to the NCOC, the total number of corona patients in Pakistan has reached 328,602. Meanwhile, the total number of deaths has risen to 6,739.

According to the latest figures released by the NCOC, the number of corona cases in Islamabad is 19,012. 102,875 patients have been reported in Punjab, 143,836 in Sindh, 39,043 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,810 in Balochistan, 4,180 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 3,846 in Azad Kashmir.
The Corona virus has killed 2,335 people in Punjab, 2,598 in Sindh, 1,269 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 212 in Islamabad, 148 in Balochistan, 90 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 87 in Azad Kashmir.

According to the NCOC, 311,075 Corona patients have recovered in Pakistan, and 10,788 are undergoing treatment. There are facilities for corona patients in 735 hospitals in Pakistan and the number of ventilators for corona patients in hospitals is 1,920.
Coronavirus rising in Islamabad, many sectors sealed
As reported earlier by Baaghi TV, it was also stated in the recent NCOC meeting that the number of Corona victims and deaths is increasing across the country. All the Chief Secretaries have been directed to strictly implement the SOPs and it has been stated that strict action will be taken against the violators of the SOPs. Attention should be paid to high risk sectors like transport, markets, wedding halls, restaurants and public gatherings. The use of masks and social distance should be ensured. The administration should take immediate action on the violation of Corona SOPs.

It should be noted that the dangerous corona virus outbreak from China also spread in Pakistan. However, Pakistan gained some control in the first wave and all the departments were opened under proper implementation of SOPs. However, SOPs are constantly being ignored by the public due to which there is a risk of further spread of corona.

On the other hand, the political opposition are manipulating the situation for personal gains. No attention is being paid to COVID-19 SOPs in rallies and gatherings, there is a risk of corona spreading even from their public meetings.

The NCOC has stressed that parents and teachers pay special attention to the following issues when sending their children to school. Send children to school wearing masks, even if it’s a cloth mask. If the child has a cough or symptoms of the disease, do not send them to school at all, if the condition is worse, the child should be tested immediately. The school should be informed in case of positive.
