According to a report by Baaghi TV, the second wave of corona is continuing in Pakistan as corona cases are on the rise.
According to the NCOC, in the last 24 hours, 1,650 new cases of corona have been reported, while 9 deaths have occurred. The total number of corona patients in Pakistan has reached 344,839. Meanwhile, the death toll from the corona virus has risen to 6,977. In Pakistan, 318,881 Corona patients have recovered, and 18,981 are undergoing treatment.
According to the NCOC, the number of corona patients in Sindh is 150,169 and in Punjab it is 106,922. There are 40,657 patients in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 21,861 in Islamabad, 16,106 in Balochistan, 4,758 in Azad Kashmir and 4,366 in Gilgit.
The corona virus has killed 2,408 people in Punjab, 2,684 in Sindh, 1,288 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 241 in Islamabad, 154 in Balochistan, 93 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 109 in Azad Kashmir.
The National Command and Operations Center has made it mandatory to wear a mask to prevent corona virus in Pakistan. Citizens must wear masks when leaving their homes. In government and private sector offices, workers will be required to wear masks. Provincial governments have been directed to make SOPs and masks mandatory in markets, shopping malls, public transport, restaurants.
Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant for Health, said that the second wave of Corona virus has gradually started in Pakistan. To deal with the second wave, SOPs will have to be strictly adhered to. By taking precautions we can deal with the second wave of corona.
