COVID-19, over 60 deaths as cases alarmingly rise across Pakistan

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the second wave of corona virus is continuing in Pakistan and the number of deaths and patients is increasing alarmingly.

According to the NCOC, 2,458 new cases have been reported in Pakistan in the last 24 hours. Since then, the total number of patients has reached 4,482. There have been 67 more deaths from Corona in 24 hours, bringing the total to 8,091.

According to the NCOC, the number of corona patients is 30,408 in Islamabad, 74,370 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 174,350 in Sindh, 119,578 in Punjab, 17,187 in Balochistan, 6,933 in Azad Kashmir and in Gilgit-Baltistan 4,658 people have been infected with Corona.

The highest number of deaths due to COVID-19, occurred in Punjab, where 3,036 people lost their lives. 2,935 people have lost their lives in Sindh, 1,369 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 318 in Islamabad, 97 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 167 in Balochistan and 169 in Azad Kashmir.

In Pakistan, 343,286 Corona patients have recovered, and 49,105 are undergoing treatment.

The death rate from corona has reached 2.02%. 76% of those killed in Corona are over 50 years old. Seventy-two percent of corona patients who died from corona also had other illnesses. Ninety-one percent of those killed in Corona died in hospitals. In hospitals, 58% of corona patients are on ventilators.

According to the NCOC, Corona is spreading to 15 cities across the country. Eighty percent of corona cases in Pakistan were reported from eleven major cities.
