COVID-19: Over 750 new cases confirmed across Pakistan

Latest figures released by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) show that more than 294,000 people have recovered since the COVID-19 outbreak spread across Pakistan.

According to reports, 294,740 people have recovered so far across Pakistan while, total Active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan are reported to be 7,831 as of 25th September.

According to reports, 798 people tested positive for Corona virus on 24th September, meanwhile, 7 people lost their lives in the hospital due to COVID-19 during the last 24 hours. Reportedly, 37,504 tests were conducted on the 24th of  September with Sindh at 16,093,  Punjab at 11,067, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) at 4,202, Islamabad at 3,997, Balochistan at 906, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) at 224, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) 1,015.

It is to be noted that there are no patients on ventilator in the AJK & Balochistan regions although 102 ventilators are currently occupied across Pakistan out of 1,912 ventilators allocated for COVID-19 patients in the country.

A total of 309,015 cases detected so far, with AJK at 2,610, Balochistan at 14,838, GB at 3,608, Islamabad at 16,324, KP at 37,525, Punjab at 98,864, and Sindh at 135,246. So far, the death toll has reached 6,444 deaths in the country. Provincial statistics show that Sindh is at 2,477 with 6 deaths in hospital on the 24th of September, Punjab at 2,229 with no deaths on the 24th of September,  KP is at 1,258 (no deaths), Islamabad is at 181 (no deaths), Balochistan is at 145 (no deaths), GB is at 84 with 1 death in the hospital on the 24th of September and AJK is at 70 with no deaths.

It is to be noted that so far, 3,344,019 tests have been conducted since the outbreak across Pakistan. Meanwhile, 735 hospitals with COVID-19 facilities are currently providing services to nearly 933 patients admitted across the country.
