COVID-19: Punjab’s Minister for Industries in Quarantine
Lahore, 15th October: Punjab Minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Baaghi TV: As per details, the provincial minister tested for the virus after feeling unwell last night.
Reportedly, Mian Aslam has quarantined himself at home after his test came out positive.

On the other hand, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has warned about rising coronavirus cases in the country and said that national positivity of COVID-19 cases was 2.37% yesterday which is the highest in more than 50 days.

Asad Umar, in a tweet, said that such a high positivity ratio was recorded on August 23. He also revealed that in first four days of the current week, coronavirus has claimed an average of 11 lives per day which is highest since the second week of August.

He further said that the positivity rate of the disease is extremely high in Muzaffarabad and remains high in Karachi too while Lahore and Islamabad are also witnessing an increase in the cases.
