COVID-19: Section 144 imposed in Islamabad

Islamabad, 28th October: Section 144 has been enforced in Islamabad.

Baaghi TV: Section 144 has been enacted in the federal capital Islamabad for wearing masks in public places.

According to the notification issued in this regard, section 144 has been enacted for wearing masks in public places for two months after a rise in the coronavirus cases.

In this regard, a meeting of the NCOC was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Asad Umar in which the strategy in view of the second wave of coronavirus was discussed.

To reduce the spread of the coronavirus, it was decided that citizens must wear masks when leaving their homes. Masks will be required for those working in government and private sector offices.

Provincial governments have been directed to make SOPs and masks mandatory in markets, shopping malls, public transport, restaurants.
