COVID-19: Supreme Court issues written order to government

Friday, June 26th: According to the report of Baaghi TV, a written order has been issued in the Supreme Court for the hearing of the Coronavirus suo motu notice case which took place yesterday.

The court said in a written order that the profiteers have stockpiled medicines for Coronavirus patients, the medicines are being sold at exorbitant prices, gas cylinders for Coronavirus patients are also being sold at high prices, against illegal action at federal and provincial levels.

The Supreme Court has ordered action against the sellers of protective equipment against Coronavirus at exorbitant prices. It also directed action against the sellers of medicines, oxygen cylinders and other devices at exorbitant prices. Court orders delivery of Coronavirus-related medical devices and medicines.

The court, in a written order, said that DRAP should ensure early registration of drugs registered in the US and Europe in Pakistan. The court barred the Sindh government from buying expensive vehicles.
