COVID-19 testing capacity is low, CM Sindh

According to a Baaghi TV report, a meeting of National Command and Operation Center is underway in Chief Minister’s House Sindh. Federal Minister Asad Umar is presiding over the meeting.

The meeting was briefed on SOPs of cattle markets on Eid-ul-Adha. The Chief Ministers of all the provinces are participating in the meeting through video link.

During the briefing at the NCOC meeting, it was informed that the capacity of corona testing in Sindh has been increased to 12,000 per day. Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said that coordination will be further improved with the NCOC meeting in the provinces. Corona test rate has been reduced in Sindh. Smart lock downs are being put down in the hotspot areas, 2 separate hospitals have been set up in Karachi for Corona victims, buying and selling of sacrificial animals in the streets has been banned.

Federal Minister Asad Omar said that the purpose of bringing NCOC in the provinces is to further improve the work, control of corona cases will be through joint efforts of all provinces. Provincial governments have also played an important role in controlling Corona. The federal government is working in consultation with the provincial governments.
