COVID-19: The virus outbreak might escalate till end of April

Lahore, 9th April: PM Pakistan, Imran Khan has informed that the outbreak of the pandemic may escalate by the end of April.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, Prime Minister Imran Khan while talking to the media in Quetta has said that it is estimated that the situation arising from the corona is going to increase by the end of April.

According to PM, there will be a lot of pressure in the hospitals, there is a national command centre in Islamabad, and he is in constant contact with the chief secretaries of all the provinces, doctors are also examining the cases of COVID-19 closely.

Prime Minister Imran Khan further added that the continuous work is being done, data is being analyzed in Pakistan and outside Pakistan.  The safety kits of our doctors, nurses, health workers are being emphasized, and are given out to all medical staff.

As per the PM, there is a possibility of increasing pressure on every province. Every province will have to be prepared for the fight against the disease. Each province will submit their reports after the 14th of April about the situation regarding the lockdown and its effects on the poor population.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also said that people who are daily wagers are affected badly due to the lockdown and that he is more worried about them. Balochistan has more poverty than the rest of the provinces.

Lockdown is imposed in the country with strict measures now. The PM is considering and consulting the provinces to open tailor and barbershops and see what effect will they have? Whatever the situation, the whole country will have to standby together.

The number of affected patients has increased in the country and has reached up to 4,322 with 64 deaths reported so far.
