COVID-19 vaccination made mandatory in Sindh

Lahore, 8th June: Sindh government has made it mandatory for every citizen to get the COVID-19 jab.

According to reports, after the Sindh government decided to ease the lockdown restrictions across the province this week, it made compulsory for everyone to get the coronavirus vaccine.

The provincial government sent a notification to all the organizations, offices and businesses directing them to get their employees and staff vaccinated against the virus within two weeks’ time.

It added that after two weeks period, random checkups will take place to ensure that everyone has been immunized against the virus.

It is to be noted that Sindh has relaxed the coronavirus restrictions in the province which had been imposed for the last 15 days.

As per the notification, all shopkeepers and staffers will get the COVID-19 vaccination after the Sindh home department ease the lockdown timings for shops and traders.

As per the notice, vaccination of all eligible individuals is of the prime focus along with the adherence of coronavirus SOPs.

The government has directed that apart from vaccination, people must wear face masks while in public and maintain a safe social distance.
