COVID-19: Virus catches speed in Pakistan, how many new patients?
According to the report of Baaghi TV, the spread of Coronavirus continues in Pakistan. Mortality and patients have increased.
The number of coronavirus patients in Pakistan has risen to 21,501 while, the total number of deaths has risen to 486.
According to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center on Coronavirus, 1,315 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. Punjab has the highest number of 8,103, Sindh 7,882, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 3,288, Balochistan 1,321, Gilgit-Baltistan 372, Islamabad 464 and Azad Kashmir 71 crore patients.
So far, 222,404 people have been tested in Pakistan. During the last 24 hours, 9,857 new tests were performed, 5,782 patients have recovered so far. While, the condition of 44 patients is reported as critical.
In Pakistan, 24 people lost their lives in one day from COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 486. There have been:
- 137 deaths in Sindh
- 136 in Punjab
- 185 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
- 3 in Gilgit-Baltistan
- 21 in Balochistan
- 4 in Islamabad
