COVID-19: Virus updates from Pakistan
The total number of COVID positive cases in Pakistan crosses 17,000, according to reports of National Command and Operation Center.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan reaches 17,045. Reportedly, 1,523 new cases surfaced on the 6th of May. A total of 24,073 cases detected so far:
- Azad Jammu & Kashmir: 76
- Balochistan: 1,659
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 388
- Islamabad: 521
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 3,712
- Punjab: 9,077
- Sindh: 8,640
According to reports, a total of 6,464 patients have recovered. While, 564 deaths have been reported since the spread of the coronairus in Pakistan. Reportedly, (38 new casualties came forward on the 6th of May.
- Sindh: 157
- Punjab: 175
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 203
- Islamabad: 4
- Balochistan: 22
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 3
According to reports, 226 patients are being reported as critical. Reportedly, 244,778 tests have been conducted so far, with 12,196 conducted in a single day. 736 hospitals with COVID facilities with 4,960 patients admitted across the country.
