COVID vaccine finished in Lahore’s major hospitals

Lahore, 17th March: With the surging coronavirus cases in the country, three main hospitals in Lahore have run out of the coronavirus vaccine.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, three major hospitals of Lahore ran out of the coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday after a huge influx of patients came in to get vaccinated.

These hospitals include Mayo Hospital, Services Hospital and Jinnah Hospital where the vaccine got finished.

The hospital management informed that they were not able to even cater to health care professionals coming to them for the jabs today. They added that vaccines had finished on Tuesday.

The management revealed that the COVID vaccines were finished as they had reached the maximum capacity, and added that they expect more vaccines to arrive tonight.

It is not possible that the vaccine will be delivered to the hospitals tomorrow as Pakistan’s third batch of the Sinopharm vaccine from China arrived in the country today.

According to Baaghi TV reports, currently, Pakistan is vaccinating healthcare workers and people over the age of 60 after launching the vaccination drive on February 2.
