CPEC is a testimony to Pak-China friendship: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed satisfaction over the completion of Pak-China Economic Corridor (PCEC) projects.

A high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of PM Imran Khan to review the CPEC projects in which Foreign Minister, Finance Minister, Industry Minister, Planning Minister, Chairman CPEC Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and other officials participated.

The meeting was briefed on CPEC projects and it was informed that the government had completed major CPEC projects in a span of two and a half years.

It was informed in the briefing that the present government has completed many projects related to infrastructure, China is increasing cooperation in the field of agriculture and livestock.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that the focus of industries should be on exports, our focus should be on alternative imports and policies should be in line with that.

He directed that the young generation should be prepared for jobs, jobs would be created from the coming industries and high quality agricultural farms.

According to the statement, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the completion of CPEC projects and vowed that CPEC projects would be completed at all costs.

He said that CPEC is a testimony to Pak-China friendship, Pakistan-China relations are deep and this project is important.

The current government has completed a number of infrastructure projects. China is expanding cooperation in agriculture and livestock.
