CPEC to usher in era of progress: FM Qureshi

FM Qureshi says government is fully committed to early completion of CPEC projects.

According to the reports of Baaghitv, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi while addressing a China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) forum in Islamabad said CPEC is flagship project of (OBOR) One Belt One Road and our government ids fully committed to completing CPEC projects.

He further said in the initial phase of CPEC, focus was on power generation and infrastructure development while second phase of CPEC will be focused on socio-economic development and industrial development. Special Economic Zones (SEZ) are being developed on top priority in the country. Qureshi said Pakistan seeks co-operation in all fields including agriculture, Science and Technology, industrial development. He said CPEC will provide immense advantages to Pakistan including impoverished areas including Balochistan. CPEC is a project that will connect the whole region and will provide immense benefits to South Asia region.
