May 5, 2021: Australian cricketer David Warner has shared a heartbreaking drawing sent by his daughter Ivy, Australian cricketers are stranded in India due to the Corona crisis, suspended amid widespread corona virus outbreak in the IPL. Warner and other Australian cricketers have been stranded in India since then. Indian cricket officials announced the suspension on Tuesday night, saying they would work to provide a safe passage for all IPL participants. But Warner and about 40 Australians in the tournament will have to stay in India until at least May 15 because the government has previously banned them from returning.

Cricket Australia and the Australian Cricketers’ Association say they will not waive the ban. Warner posted drawing from his daughter on Instagram on Tuesday. The message was also displayed with wife Candice and three daughters: “Please Daddy come home immediately.” We miss you so much and love you.

Warner quoted his post as saying: “My beautiful Ivy, I love you so much.” Fans filled Warner’s post with comments expressing love and sadness for the Austrian cricket star.

Warner was removed as captain of Sun Riser Hyderabad on Sunday before he was dropped from the playing XI due to a clash against Rajasthan Royals. David Warner is also unable to return to his home country of Australia. After the Australian government temporarily made travel to India illegal, it has been announced that anyone who comes to Australia from India in the current worrying situation will be imprisoned.
