Dean Elgar Breaks Biggest Record Of Test Cricket
South African left handed batsman, Dean Elgar has breaked Gary Kirsten’s 23-year-old record with his superb 160 runs against India.
According to details, Dean Elgar on Friday has breaked 23-year-old record of Gary Kirsten. He became first South African left-handed batsman to score 150 runs or more against India in Test cricket. Elgar went past Gary Kristen‘s 133 runs to achieve the feat, who had scored his 133 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata in 1996.
Reportedly, this is fourth time in the history that three openers have scored 150 or more in a single Test match. Before, Dean Elgar 160 runs, Indian openers also scored more than 150 runs. Rohit Sharma scored 176 runs, while, Mayank Agarwal scored 215 runs.
