A few days ago, four people were arrested for allegedly setting fires in the US states of California, Oregon and Washington. Firefighters also received the help of helicopters. However, firefighting has not yet been successful. Thousands of homes have been reduced to ashes and dozens are missing.
One hundred and sixty thousand acres of forest land in Oregon have been destroyed by fire and it is spreading very fast, which can be estimated from the fact that it spread to 5,000 acres on Friday alone.
Authorities have closed the main road in the vicinity of Willamette National Forest and are not allowed to cross the closed road unless absolutely necessary.
