According to the report of Baaghi TV, the Islamabad High Court has reserved its decision on the case of revocation of citizenship of Senator Hafiz Hamdullah of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam.

It is to be noted that the Islamabad High Court had restored his citizenship at the request of Hafiz Hamdullah, and sought a reply from NADRA within two weeks. The court also said that no further action should be taken against Hafiz Hamdullah till further orders.

Hafiz Hamdullah has taken a stand in the petition filed in the court that he appealed to the Interior Ministry but no action has been taken against him for a week. Hafiz Hamdullah says, My ID card has been blocked for a year by NADRA. Identity card was canceled in 2018, but the matter was informed in March 2019. He has filed an appeal in the Home Ministry against the cancellation of the identity card.
