Decline in Corona cases and deaths across Pakistan?

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the second wave of COVID-19 continues in Pakistan. There is a steady increase in corona patients and mortality rate. However, once again there is an already significant reduction in patients and deaths.

According to the NCOC, corona virus has caused the lowest death toll in Pakistan after 74 days. In the last 24 hours, 26 people have died and 1,615 new cases have been reported. The total number of deaths from corona in Pakistan has reached 11,683 while the total number of affected people has reached 546,428.

The number of Corona cases in Islamabad is 41,418. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 67,214, in Sindh 247,249, in Punjab 157,796, in Balochistan 18,823, in Azad Kashmir 9,019 and in Gilgit-Baltistan 4,909 people have been affected by Corona.

The highest number of deaths due to corona is in Punjab where 4,747 people have lost their lives. While 3,996 people have lost their lives in Sindh. 1,906 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 475 in Islamabad, 102 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 195 in Balochistan and 262 in Azad Kashmir. In the country, 51,252 people have recovered from Corona and the number of patients undergoing treatment is 33,493.

During the second wave of corona, the number of positive cases dropped significantly to 3.9 percent. The situation returned to pre-November 10 levels. The rate of positive cases of corona in Karachi is 10.68%. The overall positive case rate in Islamabad is 1.18%, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 5.25%, Punjab 5.97% and Sindh overall 10.23%. In Azad Kashmir, the positive cases of Corona are 5.97%, in Balochistan 3.52% and in Gilgit-Baltistan 0.56%.
