Defense System Intercepts 5 Rockets Fired at Kabul Airport

The missile defense system installed in Kabul airport intercepted five rockets that were fired on Monday morning, US officials told Reuters.

On Monday morning, six rockets were fired from the Khair Khana area in Kabul and the five aimed toward Kabul airport were intercepted by the missile defense system.

The sixth one, according to eyewitnesses, hit a residential building.

No casualities were reported from the rocket attack.
