A legislator of Delhi Vidhan Sabha, Amanat Ullah delivered a fiery speech in which he exposed the BJP-RSS ideology and demanded justice for Muslims died due to mob lynching in India.

According to reports of Baaghitv, Amanat Ullah, a Muslim law-maker belonging to Aam Admi Party (AAP) from Delhi, delivered a historic speech in Delhi’s unicameral legislative assembly known as Delhi Vidhan Sabha, where he exposed the ideology of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its parent body Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) which is supporting the mob killing of Muslims and other minorities in India and demanded justice for the deceased Muslims.

Amanat Ullah asked in an apparent reference to Modi administration, ”is it our fault that we choose to live in India at the time of participation of sub-continent [in 1947] ? Is this country not ours? Did we[Muslims] not actively participated in the independence movement of India? Is being Muslim a sin[in Modi’s India] ? Today, RSS and BJP led mobs are lynching Muslims to death in different states of India”.

He further said, ”when 85 Indians were hanged in Meerut in 1857, 49 were Muslims out of those 85 Indians and no RSS member was hanged in that tragic incident. RSS was founded in 1925, and the movement for independence lasted for 23 years since then and no member of RSS participated in that movement.”

The great leader of RSS, Atal Bihari Vajpayee openly denied to join independence movement and on an event before independence, some 25 Indians were arrested from Agra including Vajpayee who said, i don’t want to fight for the independence along with Hindus against British. He gave an affidavit clearly saying i am not with Muslims and Hindus in this movement for independence after which he was released on bail.

On another occasion, the flag of Britain was burnt by Indians during the independence movement by two Indians; a Muslim and a Hindu, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee became witness of that case in session court after which session court gave verdict against Hindu and Muslim.

Today, these [RSS members] are declaring ordinary Indians as anti-Indians and anti-state. They are killing innocent Muslims and other minorities in India today, which is a sheer violation of law.

He added, ”Today, 250 million Muslims of India are being subjected to violence and torture under the Modi regime. They are severely tortured by BJP backed mobs and are forced to leave India today. It is our right to live in India according to our choice, we’ll eat what we want, we’ll wear what we want, we’ll say what we want. Hindustan’s constitution allows the right to each individual to live according to his religion as it is a secular country. This is not the land of RSS and BJP alone; this country is equally owned by Hindus, Christians, Dalits, Sikhs, Muslims and Parsis.”

Amanat Ullah dared Narendra Modi to name even a single member of RSS and BJP who actively fought for the independence of India and advised him to refrain from calling people [who fought for independence of India] anti-Indian and anti-nationalist.
