According to the report of Baaghi TV, Pakistani film actress Resham has clarified why has she stood with the singer Ali Zafar during the MeToo movement against him by the singer Meesha Shafi.
Recently nominated for the Pride of Performance Award by the Government of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan’s 74th Independence Day, actress Resham has expressed gratitude.

In a recent interview, actress Resham revealed why she supported Ali Zafar despite allegations of sexual harassment by Meesha Shafi.
Resham said in the interview that she supported Ali Zafar because she has known Ali Zafar for the last 2 decades and to this day he has not expressed him any immoral talk about any woman or with any woman. She has never seen him being rude.

The actress said that she also knows Ali Zafar’s wife well while she also has a good relationship with actress Saba Hameed, who is the mother of singer Meesha Shafi.
Reshma also disclosed that she attended Meesha Shafi’s wedding and she also respects her a lot but since she had never seen Ali Zafar insulting a woman, she supported Ali Zafar.

۔Resham added that many singers were shocked when they heard that Resham is all out to support Ali Zafar and she said that many people were not supporting him out of fear.
The actress revealed that she is not afraid of anyone, she only fears God.
Remembering the incident of getting the Pride of Performance Award from the President of Pakistan, she said that she received a phone call from PTV two and a half months ago asking for a copy of her ID card and was told that her name was being nominated for the Pride of Performance Award.
