Detractors Wrongly Propagating the Idea that CPEC has Slowed Down
Islamabad: Certain ill-intentioned persons are propagating false impressions regarding the slow-down of CPEC. They should desist from cheap rhetoric. According to reports Asim Saleem Bajwa said that certain elements are spreading the idea that CPEC has slowed down. Work for commencing the second phase of the CPEC has already been completed.
Chairman CPEC Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa has tweeted that recently work on CPEC projects has been sped up. Soon the 2 to 7 billion dollars budget ML-1 project shall be started. There will be an investment of 3 to 5 billion dollars on two hydel power projects. The speed on SMEs and agricultural projects has also been ramped up.

On another occasion, while warning the ill-minded detractors of CPEC, Asim Saleem Bajwa said that they should cease fake propaganda and stop playing their malicious role with unrestrained language. They should not speak the agenda of the enemies of the State, he said. He said the current government is doing a great job with the CPEC and the nation does not need to worry.
