Thursday, July 2nd: DIG Operations Ashfaq Khan meets heirs of youths who committed suicide. Yousuf Mukhtar, father of late Jonty Joseph, called on DIG Operations. Khawaja Mohammad Sohail, father of late Mohammad Zakaria, Shoaib Mengal, brother of late Shehryar Mengal were among those who met him.

DIG Operations Ashfaq Khan expressed deep sorrow over the sudden death of the youth.

Irreparable damage is less than regrettable. Games based on negative and violent tendencies force young people to take extreme measures, including suicide. Violent online PubG game has caused the loss of precious human lives.

The ban on PubG game by the concerned agencies including PTA is welcome. The PTA, FIA and related agencies are in constant touch to ban the use of violent and immoral websites on a permanent basis. The DIG operation provides a strong link between the youth and the family and encourages creative and literary activities.

The heirs of the youth expressed their gratitude to DIG Operations for raising the issue of the disadvantages and negative trend of PubG Game. If our children die, banning this negative game will save other people’s children. SHO North Cantonment, SHO Hinjral, Chowki in-charge Punjab Society and other officers were present on the occasion.
